In the Broadview security commercials why are the bad guys always white men?
According to Department of Justice violent crimes statistics by race: Blacks are 9 times more likely to commit a violent crime than White. Hispanics are roughly 5 times more likely to commit violent crimes than White.
I am thinking of purchasing Broadviews service, but if they can't even represent reality, how likely is it that they are competent in their work?

Nothing in the commercials is reality. A woman and her daughter are playing in their yard, go in the house for lunch and she sets the alarm and a guy in a hooded jacket breaks in. Nobody in the neighborhood saw this guy in daylight? People buy a security system and have doors that a 5 year old could kick in. The best part is the women can call 911 a hell of alot faster and get help than getting a call from Broadview. They'll get around to putting a black guy in one of their ridiculous commercials eventually. Why are the Broadview ad burglars always white men?
If they depicted the criminals as any minority, they would be toast.
Their advertisements must be inoffensive to the majority of viewers, and white folks tend to complain less about stereotyping. Why are the Broadview ad burglars always white men?
They'd be called racist if their actors were black or Latino. This is the political correctness reality.
