It's settable on the control panel - our's is set to arm 30 seconds after we push the "away" button. It gives you time to go out the door and lock it. When you return, the same delay gives you time to enter your 4 digit code or push the disarm button on the panel.

I am thinking about getting BroadView security system but I have a few questions?
What if I arm the system before I leave, come back home: if I open the door will it give me time to disable the system(1-2min) or will it go off, If it would go off, how will I disarm the system?I am thinking about getting BroadView security system but I have a few questions?
