How do I become a gamer (again)?

I was a big console gamer until about a year and a half ago when I finally got high-speed internet access. Now, I'm addicted to the internet, and I don't play games that much anymore, but I want to get back into gaming. Is there any possible way that I can do this? Thanx. BTW, I used to be more into singleplayer/offline multiplayer games, so reccomending Xbox Live or other such services wouldn't help.How do I become a gamer (again)?i consder myself a gamer, though i never play online, and only on ps2 and ds.

...um....yeah...just..well....hmm.Once you quit video games its hard to jump back in. But since you dont like to play online i would recomend the DS or Wii.
This is a very scary thought, but I would try playing World of Warcraft. There tends to be a fun community of people, so you can make new friends and defeat enemies at the same time! Player VS Player servers tends to be a bit more intense, but they are extremely fun. It's an addicting game, but try it out! Good luck finding the game for you.
