Can i use a picture tht i took on my camera to use as my gamer profile avatar on X-box 360??

I plugged my camera up to it and it wouldnt let me. Can you do it or not, because the avatars they give are gay|||You have to go to where you change your personal gamerpicture and there will be an option to take a picture for your gamer picture|||yes, highlight your gamercard with your gamer score, click it and then go change gamer picture. From there you should have the option to use your camera or choose a gamer picture.
