I've heard that alienware is the best type of computer for gamers, but what makes it different from a mac when it comes to gaming. Is it worth the high price? what type of laptop do you recommend i buy?|||Alienware desktop is worth it 100%. Laptops, however, have a lot of problems. Any dell(even Alienware) eventually has a lot of hardware problems. It's a lot of money to begin with, but you'll end up paying more.
Either get a different gaming laptop, or an alienware desktop.|||Alienware is the best laptop for a hardcore gamer! It worth for every cost you pay for.
If you want it to school and games the new M14x is the best choice.
If you want this monster to replace your oldie desktop, the M17x is the great pick.

It really depends on whether you would like to buy a computer and not deal with the hassle of building, or buy the parts and spend half as much while getting the experience (and fun) of building your own computer.
I wouldn't buy Alienware, there are better builders out there if I had the money to spend. I don't have the money so I'd rather deal with a couple hours of putting my own stuff together, plus it can be a lot of fun to deal with that. If you go with the second option make sure that you have another computer with internet access, just in case.|||It has a higher image (hd) and it isn't glitchy
