Well casual gaming is a very general term. If you play a lot but not very high quality games then you will be just fine with a dual. If you play high quality games but not very much then quad core proccessor would be the way to go with a lot of ram so that the games run faster and without lag. If you buy a dual, be prepared with the fact that you might need to upgrade in the next few years if you still want to continue enjoying gaming on your computer. The problem with computers is you need to constantly upgrade for gaming.
