Will a second gamer prevent me from using xbox live?

I want to start a new gamer profile on xbox 360, and so I will have two. Will this cause problems for me downloading things on xbox live?Will a second gamer prevent me from using xbox live?We have two gamer tags, one for me and one for my husband. This is perfectly fine. You have to pay for them each seperately of course. We do not have a 360 but as I understand it - xbox live is capable of working with two accounts.
