What's the best laptop for a student gamer that wants portability, features and is on a budget?

I'm looking to be able to play all the top of the line games that are out now and are coming out.

I want something I can bring around in my bag, to school or wherever.

I want it to be a good system, I'm a power user and I want all the bang for my buck, no junk.

I'm also looking for something that is around 1000$.
