For greatest quality, any standard cable modem will provide enough bandwidth to give you mostly lag-free viewing. Cable modem based internet service typically provides around 6Mbps download speeds and between 1 to 2Mbps upload.
To get higher, typically requires something like Verizon FiOS (Fiber Optic Service). This will give you massive download capacity well beyond 20Mbps if you pay for it. This is FAR more than you need though.|||Just get the cheapest DSL your local phone company provides if it's available. It's pretty cheap and will be more than sufficient.
