About a year ago I signed up for Xbox live gold but I did it under the wrong gamer tag so i wanted to know if there was any way that i could transfer my gold membership to a different game tag.Transfer Xbox live account to a new gamer tag?Well not really, but, you have another option. This won't work if you're looking to "combine" the accounts from two GT's into one but it'll allow you to keep playing on the old account under a different name.
You can purchase a GT name change for 800 Microsoft POINTS. I know, it's steep. We all wish they' wouldn't charge for this but, if you've got some GS you don't want to lose on the old tag, this is your only option.
