I am getting a new hard drive for my xbox 360, can I transfer Gamer profiles from mem unit to hdd?

Hi, I am purchasing a new Hard drive and want to transfer my old save games and profiles to my new hard drive I have heard of the transfer cable but I have a 64mb memory card, could i just transfer the profiles and saves from my old hdd to the mem unit and then plug in the mem unit and the new hdd and transfer from the mem unit to the new hdd?I am getting a new hard drive for my xbox 360, can I transfer Gamer profiles from mem unit to hdd?Of course you can.
