How to recover my gamer tag on my new xbox 360 slim?

i'm gonna buy the new xbox 360 slim today and gonna trade in my old xbox 360, but if someone buys the xbox 360 later they will get my xbox 360 gamer tag which i'm gonna recover on my new xbox, so how can i make them not use my gamer tag? and if i recover it before someone buy it will they still be able to use my gamer tag?|||It's best if you delete the gamertag before you sell the system, just in case another person buys your system before you can recover your profile. Also, hope you don't mind loosing most of your game saves as that is tied to the hard drive/memory card and not your gamertag, only some online data is tied to your gamertag (progress in the online mode of MW2 for example).|||Yes, they can use it.
